Stock Controller- Multi-Brand Automotive Dealership

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Automotive Stock Controller to join our busy multi-brand dealership located in Caroline Springs.

Due to the resignation of our current Stock Controller, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised individual who understands automotive dealership stock control and can confidently manage the position with minimal supervision.

About the Role

Working across multiple automotive brands, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely management of new and used vehicle stock, ensuring dealership systems and records are maintained to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing new and used vehicle stock from arrival through to delivery

  • Vehicle stock receipting and processing

  • Maintaining accurate vehicle records within dealership management systems

  • Processing vehicle invoices and associated documentation

  • Monitoring vehicle movements, transfers and stock locations

  • Managing floorplan and stock-related administration

  • Liaising with manufacturers, dealerships, sales departments, accounts and other internal stakeholders

  • Assisting with vehicle registrations and VicRoads-related processes where required

  • Reconciling stock and investigating discrepancies

  • Ensuring vehicle information, costs and documentation are accurate and up to date

  • Supporting month-end stock processes and reporting

  • Providing assistance with deal processing when required
    About You

    We are specifically looking for someone with previous automotive dealership stock control experience who can quickly become an effective member of the team.

    To be successful, you will ideally have:

    • Previous experience as a Stock Controller within an automotive dealership

    • Strong knowledge of new and/or used vehicle stock processes

    • Experience working within a dealership management system

    • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

    • Strong organisational and time-management skills

    • The ability to manage a high-volume workload and competing priorities

    • Good communication skills and the confidence to liaise across different departments

    • Strong computer and administrative skills

    • Experience with ERA/Reynolds, Pentana or similar automotive dealership systems would be highly regarded

    • Knowledge of VicRoads processes would be advantageous
