We are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team. The primary function of this position requires you to assist with regular weekly payroll functions, administering wages and superannuation payments for approximately 300 staff across the group.You will be assisting the Payroll Manager with the following functions: • General Payroll administration functions• Data entry and maintaining employee payroll records• Manual and electronic filing • Liaison with internal staff in relation to payroll matters• Administering leave applications and maintaining leave registers• Interpreting Modern Awards • Regular reporting payroll related matter to management• Assisting with temporary staff allocations across the GroupTo be successful you will require:• Previous experience in Unipay Payroll• Strong administration skills• High attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to prioritise tasks and strong time management skills • Excellent communication skills, communicating with internal stakeholders and staff• Strong computer based skills i.e. competent user of MS Suite• Experience with computer payroll software ideally Pervasive/Unipay or similarThis position would ideally suit a person seeking part time employment and able to work 1 - 3 days.
